She showed up...splashin' around!

Last weekend we hit the road yet again. This time over to Minneapolis for Michael (Amie's cousin) and Danni's wedding. It was a great time. It was Madisyn's first wedding and she did great...making it all the way til the end. (She may not have been awake the whole time, but still made it.) Not only was it her first wedding, but it also gave us our first chance for Madisyn to get in the pool. So, we put on the Lil' Swimmers and marched on down to the pool for a little dip.

Here we go...Madisyn wasn't real sure at first...but soon realized it was just like a really big bath tub.

"This is FUN...a bit chilly...but FUN!"

"Hey Mom...I like this..."

"Whoa..wait a minute...I'm gonna do what?"

"Blub...blub...blub...blub"

"Holy Cow...what was that!"

All that swimming...and dunking (only once) seemed to tire Madisyn out a bit.

Madisyn even got invited to the rehearsal dinner. She especially liked the sherbert part! Wink Wink.

Congratulations to Michael and Danni...it was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding!

Ding...Ding...Ding!

Yup...That's Right...Dinner time. Madisyn's now eating people food. Well, almost...if you count people food mashed into a paste...then yeah. She's doing pretty good. Maybe that's only because she hasn't learned how to spit it all over the place yet. I'm sure it's on the way. Here's a peek at how it went.

Friday Madisyn learned a new trick. Well...It's not much of a trick I guess, but it still made Mom and Dad pretty excited.

Since our last post, we've welcomed a new little one to the world. No...not us...but friends Paul and Veronica. Little Lola Sofia Dax. She's a cutie and we all went to visit her last weekend. Both girls were pretty sleepy so we have to wait for the 'group' shot...but I'm sure it will be here soon enough. Congratualations to you guys!
