So I'm startin' to get the hang of this big brother thing. I like having a little sister around the house actually. She's got so much stuff I can steal from her room...stuffed animals...burp rags...clothes. Its GREAT! All in all it is pretty cool though. I keep an eye on her. Looking into the pack n' play to make sure she isn't getting into trouble, or lying next to her crib at night to make sure she doesn't sneak out when mom and dad are sleeping. (Mom likes it when I sleep in there too because she says she gets more room on the bed) Anyways...I'm gonna go play in all the snow in the backyard, talk to you later.

Madi had her first trip out of the house today to go see the doctor. Riley was sad to see her go, but understood and wished her well. She did great. Everything looks good and she gained 2 whole ounces.

My First Valentine's Day!

There's no place like home!

Well, I'm out on my own now (Well, with my parents and Riley:) ! I got to come home from the hospital yesterday. It's a pretty cool house I get to live in now. I even get my own room! How cool is that! Although...there is this Riley guy they've been telling me about...he likes to hang out in there with me too. I think we'll get along great. He's going to watch out for me. Well, I'm hungry again, so I'm gonna go eat. Talk to you soon.

Finally, I'm Here!

Finally, at 5:07 on Sunday, February 11th, Madisyn Rian Berggren decided to come out and introduce herself to the world! A beautiful baby girl! It was a long wait, but well worth it. Mom did a great job in the 20 some hours it took for Madisyn to finally come out and Dad couldn't be more proud of either of them. They both did great. Thanks for all the phone call, visits, and support from everyone. We're looking forward to all the fun ahead!

Waiting for a friend...

I can’t wait for my little brother or sister to get here. Although I’m not real sure about giving up the little duck toy. Either way I’ll love him or her very much. I’m going to be the best big brother-dog EVER.
